Five contract coronavirus from Senegal patient

Five people from Senegal have tested positive for the coronavirus after coming into contact with an existing patient who’d picked up the disease during a trip to Italy.

Some of the newly infected patients are relatives of the original patient but the health ministry has not said how many.

Two of those who contracted the virus are believed to have already made a recovery, while eight others are “still receiving treatment”.
